Altitude tent
Which altitude tent is right for me?
The most important criterion is actually your training goal. If you are training specifically for a competition in endurance sports, you will particularly benefit from the “sleep high, train low” model: you sleep in an altitude tent while you do your usual training in a normal environment – this allows you to get used to the conditions without changing your training routine. For mountaineers, the tent offers the opportunity to slowly acclimatize the body to higher altitudes and thus reduce the risk of altitude sickness before the actual tour. Continuous sleeping in the tent gradually promotes adaptation to altitude. If you are pursuing health goals, you can flexibly integrate the tent into your everyday life, for example by sleeping several nights a week.
