“When I started training with Roy 2 ½ years ago to beat my PBs, of course I didn’t know what was in store for us. First a year without competitions because of Corona and then a knee injury in 2021 that put me out of action for 10 months.
When I was finally able to start training again in February 2022, Roy made a training plan tailored to me to promote the build-up. I stuck to it rigorously and always went to team training on Wednesdays, which always gave me a lot of motivation.
Lo and behold: on June 12, 2022, 4 months since the start again, I improved my PB on the Olympic distance at the Zytturm Triathlon by 12 minutes: amazing. I’m curious how it will affect the half-distance if I continue to follow the training so rigorously.
Thank you Roy for your valuable help and motivation. While I’m certainly not one of Roy’s best athletes, I’ve never felt like I got less attention.”
