“After around 8 years in triathlon and many competitions, I was looking for a new challenge and wanted to find out more and understand what it actually means to prepare for a long distance race in terms of sport, mentally and nutritionally. What processes actually take place in the body during training and competitions? What kind of regeneration do I need to consider? With his experience, Roy manages to pave the way for you and through the feedback from the athletes he is not afraid to question himself again and again. Through the many sessions we did during the time he was writing his book, I was able to gain many insights.
