Vladislav Heints

“After several ligament injuries while playing soccer, I discovered performance-oriented running as a substitute sport. As I am very ambitious, I wanted to achieve the maximum possible at almost thirty. The various people around me thought that I should be much faster in competition with my training workload (33:45 min over 10 km). Due to this uncertainty, I began to study all kinds of running literature and train myself. Even after four years, this did not lead to the desired success, as I often felt weak during competitions. It was purely by chance that I discovered Roy Hinnen’s videos on YouTube and immediately established a good relationship with him. After two phone calls and a twelve-hour bus journey from Germany, I was there live. Since then, I’ve stopped fidgeting and the training sessions have been really fun again for a long time, so I’m confident (if Roy lets me off the leash ;-)) that I’ll be able to shoot at the competitions with charged tanks and full power.”
